When my grandmother was in high school somewhere around 1928 Home Economics was taught through the science department. Her life long cook book was the notebook she did her scientific home making experiments and kept her notes. Everything was learned through the scientific method. I am so thankful that she left that notebook behind for future generations to learn from as well. Cake number 1.
